“While Lauren’s Away…” (Season 4: Episode 7)

Lauren was off to Italy for a family vacation which meant time for Audrina and Lo to spend together at the house.

Since Stephanie was unable to contact Lauren in Italy, she sought counsel from Audrina.  Doug had just asked her out for dinner and was unsure how she should proceed.  Stephanie asked Audrina, “How would she find out?”The guys onThe After Show“ laughed at this one.  The look on Audrina’s face says it all.  Come on Steph, of course she’ll find out.  You’re on a reality TV series!  “I’d be just careful,” advised Audrina.

What’s this, Audrina and Lo enjoying lunch together at Fred Segal?  I guess miracles do happen.  They discussed Audrina’s relationship with Justin and Stephanie going out with Doug.  “Why would you want sloppy seconds?” asked Audrina.  LOL!!!

Later in the evening, Lo and Audrina go out to the nightclub, Goa and bump into Heidi and Spencer.  Audrina and Heidi enjoy a conversation together and discuss the news about Stephanie and Doug.  Heidi eventually invites Audrina and Justin to the X-Games Party she’s promoting.

All this occurs as Lo is left on the sidelines.  LOL!!!

The next day at the Speidi household, Stephanie pays a visit to her brother.  She asked him if he heard the news about her and Doug.

“So are you a little nervous that LC’s gonna clip you from her little posse?” asked Spencer, “I’d be if I were you.” LOL!!!

In the evening, Speidi spends some time with Audrina and Justin at the X-Games Party.  Spencer asks the couple, “Have you seen ‘Batman‘?  ‘Joker’, it should have been called ‘Joker’.”

Justin couldn’t care less about this conversation.  LOL!!!

But, it seemed like Spencer was really into it.

That same evening, Stephanie and Doug meet at Beso for dinner.

They thought they were being all stealth, but then they run into Brody’s mother, Linda.  “Are you guys on a date?  Is that what’s happening here?” she asked the two.

“Wow, that’s interesting,” said Doug.  Stephanie shook her head and replied,“Not good.”

The next day, Lauren returns early from Italy.  “So, what I miss?” she asked Audrina and Lo.  Her roommates inform her about their encounter with Speidi and the news about Stephanie and Doug.

Later in the day, Lauren and Brody go out for dinner at Loteria Grill.

He informs her about Doug’s so called “business dinner”.

Lauren is obviously not pleased about the news.

Brody goes on to say, “At least you know what I was talking about, she’s shady.” (referring to Stephanie)

“You Always Miss A Best Friend” (Season 4: Episode 6)

Check out Spencer’s reaction to Holly just mentioning Lauren’s name.  “Yeah, you should totally hang out with Lauren.  She’s really cool,” he said, sarcastically.  LOL!!!

“It would definitely be nice to see a familiar face,” said Holly.

“I can’t like tell you who to hang out with,” said Heidi, but apparently Spencer can.  LOL!!!

Loyal confidant to Lauren, Whitney always offers helpful advice to her friend.  While working at People’s Revolution, Lauren receives a random text message from Holly to meet her.  Whitney tells Lauren, “You could always use more friends in the city, you know?  It doesn’t hurt anybody.” Lauren replies, “It would just help if some of them weren’t related to people I didn’t get along with.”

At Epic Records, Audrina is assigned the task of being the publicist’s right-hand at a showcase for the rock band, “The White Tie Affair“.

Holly and Lauren meet for lunch at Amandine Patisserie.

“We were like ‘The Three Musketeers‘.  I miss it!” said Holly referring to her relationship with Lauren and Heidi in the past.

“Hopefully, I’ll get to see you more,” wishes Holly.

At Amalfi Ristorante, Justin tells Audrina at dinner, “You’re really good at accepting people again.  You know what I mean?” (referring to her relationship with her roommates, Lauren and Lo).  Audrina also invites Justin to the showcase.  “If it’s going to benefit you, I’ll go for sure.  It’ll be fun,” he answered.

Back at home, Audrina invites Lauren to the party.  Lauren tells her about Holly, and Audrina says, “Sometimes friendships are even harder than relationships.”

At the Hotel Roosevelt, “The White Tie Affair“, Audrina, and Charlie Walk (president of Epic Records) start the evening off with a toast.

Audrina shares a hug with Epic Records‘ publicist, Kristin Loretta during the performance…

Lauren shows up with Stephanie and Lo.  She tells Audrina, “They’re really good!” (referring to the band).

The absence of Justin was being felt.

Lo actually made an effort to enjoy herself tonight.

Back at the Speidi residence, Heidi reacts to Holly informing her of her lunch with Lauren.  “Really?  You’re my best friend and my sister, and you didn’t want to tell me?  You just kind of went behind my back and did that?” asked Heidi.

“You guys are both like little sisters to me,” replied Holly.

“This whole thing has been really… hard for me.  It’s hard for me to hear… even you went to lunch with her.  It’s kind a…  I don’t know,” Heidi explained.

Holly’s response, “Nothing’s beyond repair.  I can tell that she misses you.”

Now at the after party, Stephanie flirts with Sean (guitarist of “The White Tie Affair“) and asks him to show her his nipple piercings.

“Oh, my God!!!” she exclaims.  LOL!!!

Lo asked Audrina, “Is Justin coming?”

Poor Audrina, she couldn’t give a straight answer.  She was obviously disappointed at Justin’s lack of effort.

Lauren reprimands Lo, “Way to be a buzz kill.” LOL!!!

The following day at work, Audrina confides to Chiara (co-worker) about her doubts towards Justin.

During lunch with Kimberly (Bolthouse event coordinator) at Toast, Heidi tells her about her feelings towards Holly and Lauren’s relationship.

“We were best friends for years.  I’ve never even had a best friend like that.” explained Heidi.  She goes on to wish, “Maybe one day, by… you know… like a miracle, we’ll be friends again.”

I actually felt bad for Heidi at this moment.  It was so obvious she was sad.

At FIDM (The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising), Lauren informs Stephanie about her lunch with Holly.

“Did seeing Holly make you miss Heidi?” asked Stephanie.

“Yeah…  You always miss a best friend,” replied Lauren.

“Who knows, maybe one day…” hoped Heidi.

I just loved how this episode ended with the conversations switching from Lauren to Heidi.  This is my favourite episode so far this season.  I’ll probably never erase it from my hard drive, so I can watch the end over and over again.  LOL!!!

“Something Has To Change” (Season 4: Episode 5)

Well, turned out Doug and Brody weren’t behind bars, but at a casino jail filing an incident report all night.  There was no need for concern at all.  It’s a good thing the network decided to air this episode right after the previous one and not leave us hanging for a week.

“Heidi and I want you to move out.  Straight up,” said Spencer.

Poor Holly, Spencer made her doubt her sister.

“Kick’em the f*ck out!” said Justin, referring to her strained relationship with Lauren and Lo.

Kelly Cutrone of People’s Revolution put Whitney in charge of styling Lady Gaga‘s record launch.

Heidi asked Spencer, “What did you say to her?” Referring to Holly being incommunicado and her absence from their condo.

Lo spotted on Facebook!

At the Area Nightclub, Lady GaGa‘s catsuit runs into a bit of a snag.

But no need to worry, Lauren fixes the zipper on her outfit and Lady GaGa calls her, “a Superwoman” before she goes out on stage.

A look of relief from the dynamic dual after a disaster averted.

I just had to stick this in.  This was Lady GaGa signing the ass of my buddy, Josh when she was in town performing at the Mirage.  LOL!!!

Back at the Speidi household, Holly returns and is consoled by her little sister.

This was a great scene between Lauren and Audrina!

Man, the past 2 episodes just had me in tears.  LOL!!!

“Boys Make Girls Cry” (Season 4: Episode 4)

So Lauren and friends were off to Las Vegas in Doug’s jet to celebrate Frankie’s birthday in this episode.

Here’s Doug handing out champagne to everyone.

As you can see in this photo, Stephanie is definitely impressed by Doug.

During the flight though, Brody makes an inappropriate toast to Stephanie, “Having little Steph here is almost as good as having Spencer here.”

I felt bad for Stephanie here.

Now back at the Speidi household, Heidi tells Spencer that Holly (Heidi’s sister) will be staying with them because she’s moving into town.  I loved Spencer’s reaction especially when he said, “Ask her next time, ‘Did Spencer find a bunch of tampons…'” LOL!!!

Oh man, I really felt bad for Stephanie here.  She opened the door big time when she confronted Brody in front of everyone about what he’s been saying to Lauren about her.  She started to cry at the dinner table after Brody told her countless times, she was crazy and asked her to leave.

Even Lauren felt bad and took her upstairs to console her.

I still remember this season on The After Show“, Stephanie mentioned she’s scared to death to argue with either Spencer or Brody.  Now, I see why.

“You making girls cry now, dude?” asked Doug.  Props to Doug for trying to stop the argument earlier.  Man, Brody was a mean mofo in this episode.

LOL!!!  This guy’s totally checking out the scene at the party in LAX.

Looks like these guys recognized Audrina and Justin.  LOL!!!

The episode finished off with Frankie informing the girls the next morning, that Brody and Doug were in jail!
